PEOPLE - POWER - PLANET - PROGRESS
We don’t need better rhetoric. We need better systems. People across the world are already building solutions that work for their communities and the planet. The problem is not ideas. It’s who holds power and where resources flow. The Collective exists to shift both.
FIVE BIG IDEAS TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Across the world, people are already organising, sharing resources, and building solutions that work for their communities and for the planet.
What’s holding this work back is scale, coordination, and access to power and resources.
The Collective exists to connect people who are already doing the work, help resources move where they’re most needed, and create the conditions for collective action across borders and movements.
We work alongside grassroots leaders, movements, funders, and creatives to strengthen what exists, link it together, and help it last. Our focus is practical, collaborative, and grounded in lived experience.

1 . Go Grassroots
Change holds when people closest to the problem lead it. We support grassroots leaders, movements, and communities to organise, grow their power, and protect their work. This includes campaigning, mobilisation, advocacy support, and safeguarding for those working in difficult or dangerous contexts. Our role is to strengthen local leadership and connect it across a global ecosystem. Read more in our full proposal to Go Grassroots

2. GO BIG
We work to shift how resources move, building funding models that are governed by communities and rooted in trust. By connecting philanthropy, social investment, and grassroots leadership, we help direct long-term, flexible funding to those driving change on the ground.

3. GO COLLABORATIVE
Collective power grows through connection. We provide shared infrastructure that helps movements coordinate, collaborate, and act together. This includes convening, strategy spaces, digital platforms, and networks that support alignment without central control. The aim is durable relationships and shared action across movements and regions.

4. Go Visionary

Narratives influence what people see as possible. We support storytelling and cultural work that reflects lived experience, builds solidarity, and opens space for change. Working with communities, artists, and movements, we help develop and amplify narratives rooted in dignity, justice, and shared futures.

5. Go Cooperative & Regenerative
Economic systems shape everyday life. We support and connect initiatives building cooperative and regenerative models that prioritise people and the planet. This includes mapping existing efforts, convening practitioners, and helping scale approaches that demonstrate fairer, more sustainable ways of organising work, resources, and ownership.

OUR MISSION & VISION
Our world holds enormous potential, but the systems shaping our lives are failing. Power is concentrated, resources are misused, and decisions that affect millions are made without them. This failure harms both people and the planet.
Change at this scale requires collective action. By working across movements, borders, and sectors, it is possible to reshape the systems that govern our economies, our societies, and our relationship with the planet, and to secure justice that is social, economic, and environmental.
The Collective brings together five connected ideas designed for this moment.
They reflect what communities are already building and what is needed to take that work further. The future of people and planet is inseparable.
The choices made now will shape what comes next.
Acting together makes those choices count.
We strengthen people power and help resources move directly to grassroots movements.
By connecting climate action, social justice, and decolonised approaches, The Collective supports fairer economies and lasting change for people and the planet.
